Instead of tracking tackles by a statistician with binoculars, the NFL is trying Next Gen Stats. This allows them to catch more tackles and place them in more specific categories like missed tackles, group tackles and even evaluate the quality of the tackles.

Kyle Larson will run the Indianapolis 500 again in 2025. The initial deal was for two years, but 2025 was an option, and Hendrick Motorsports had a three-month window to make the decision. Hendrick officials ensured NASCAR that the Coca-Cola 600 would be the priority event and Larson would not miss it again.

RJ Oben is one of the record-breaking 3,568 graduates playing football the season. As a student-athlete, he balances a full class schedule and football. He works on compartmentalizing so he can focus on each task. Obens goal is to start a nonprofit after he graduates.
