Amazon Readies Black Friday Sports Bonanza With NFL, NBA, Golf
Amazon will show 15 hours of live sports for Black Friday on its Prime Video streaming service. The revival of golf’s “Skins Game” will appear for the first time since 2008. The Bears and the Eagles game will kickoff at 3pm ET. The NBA Cup double header between the Bucks and Knicks and Mavericks and Lakers will also be on the streaming service.

In Dick’s Sporting Goods’ third-quarter earnings report, the company confirmed it will begin to address unproductive Foot Locker assets. Dick’s plans to close underperforming stores. Dick’s completed its acquisition of Foot Locker on Sept. 8 after announcing the $2.4 billion deal in May.

F1 executive Ian Holmes said there could be a sequel to “F1: The Movie.” The movie has done very well for Formula 1. He said the timing for the sequel has to be right. New regulations for the sport are coming next year. The first movie didn’t explicitly leave an opportunity for a sequel, but it also did not close the door.

NCAA D1 Basketball Oversight Committee proposes moving transfer window to conclusion of Final Four
The Division I Men’s and Women’s Basketball Oversight Committees recommended moving the notification-of-transfer window so it opens after the conclusion of the 2026 Men’s and Women’s Final Fours. The shift is designed to reduce disruption to championship competition and bring clarity to the sport’s increasingly chaotic offseason. This would shorten each window by 15 days while pushing its start deep into April.
