Titans-Amazon deal means new Nissan Stadium concessions will be completely checkout-free
The Titans’ under-construction Nissan Stadium will have a completely checkout-free concessions setup when it opens ahead of the 2027 NFL season. Amazon Just Walk Out will provide the store technology for more than 50 concession locations throughout the venue. Nissan Stadium will be the second sports venue with solely checkout-free stores.

Las Vegas Athletics trademark application denied by patent office
The United States Patent and Trademark Office has denied trademark applications for “Las Vegas Athletics” and “Vegas Athletics” a second time. The proposed marks are “primarily geographically descriptive” and “cannot be registered on the Principal Register.” Las Vegas is a well-known geographical location, and the remaining word “Athletics” lacks distinctiveness when applied to the goods and services listed in the applications.

Washington Huskies star QB Demond Williams Jr. to enter transfer portal
Sophomore quarterback Desmond Williams Jr. announced that he plans to enter the transfer portal. The University of Washington will seek legal action to enforce Williams to fulfill the contract that he signed on Friday. Washington officials suspect another school contacted Williams after he signed his new agreement and wants to submit evidence of tampering.
