Michele Kang launches first global multi-team women’s soccer organization
Michele Kang has launched Kynisca Sports International. It is the first multi-team global organization dedicated to women’s soccer. Kang is the first person to own an international organization completely dedicated to women’s soccer. The company aims to raise $100 million to support its goals. Kang will contribute $50 million in combined seed funding and matching funds to support the Kynisca Innovation Hub.

Olympic Beach Volleyball Sand Is Money At Eiffel Tower Venue
The beach volleyball court is one of the most stunning venues in the 2024 Paris Olympics, with the Eiffel Tower in the background. The court has 2,000 tons of sand from Sibelco’s Montgru-Saint-Hilaire sand quarry. The sand is made up of grain sizes between 250-500 microns. It costs $67 per cubic ton, making the whole court cost approximately $134,000.

NCAA, college leaders file landmark agreement in antitrust cases; here's what was settled and what's next
The NCAA is ushering in a future of athlete revenue sharing, expanding scholarships to full rosters and creating a historic enforcement system of arbitration overseen by the courts. The new concepts will take place at the start of the 2025-26 academic year next summer or fall. They plan to distribute nearly $2.8 billion in back damages to former players over a 10-year period. It is expected to go to an estimated 19,000 football and men’s basketball players.
