Chiefs-Cowboys Thanksgiving Ratings Shatter NFL Regular-Season Record
The Chiefs-Cowboys Thanksgiving football game set an all-time regular-season record. There were 57.2 million viewers on CBS. This shattered the previous record of 42.1 million viewers set by the Giants-Cowboys game in 2022. The Packers-Lions game had 47.7 million viewers on Fox and Tubi. This is the most-watched early Thanksgiving game on record.

Players to reject WNBA’s latest proposal
The union will reject the offer that the WNBPA has made. The reason is because of the vague pay-scale projections, salary cap ambiguity and the surprising issue of player housing. The WNBA inference players a 2026 max base salary of $1 million which can rise to a projected $1.2 million or more through revenue sharing. The projected average salary is $500k, and the minimum would be $225k. The league would increase its salary cap figure in 2026 to $5 million. The union is questioning how the math is adding up.

MLS Cup 2025 Production To Feature Four iPhone 17 Pros as Game-Coverage Cameras
MLS Cup 2025 will integrate live game footage captured on the iPhone 17 Pro. Four devices will be positioned throughout Fort Lauderdale, FL’s Chase Stadium. Inter Miami FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps will play each other on Saturday at 2:30pm ET on FOX and Apple TV.

Inside the Kelly Slater-backed surf community coming to Austin
Eleven-time World Surf League champion and entrepreneur Kelly Slater is partnering with Discovery Land Company to create the world’s largest man-made surf basin alongside a luxury residential development. The cost of the project has not been released. It will be located 10 minutes from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The entry point for real estate property starts at $2.5 million and Surf Membership starts at $1.5 million.

USF to hire Brian Hartline, one of the architects Ohio State's 'WRU'
Ohio State offensive coordinator Brian Hartline will be the next head coach at South Florida. He will replace Alex Golesh, who left the program to become the head coach at Auburn. Hartline signed a six-year deal with South Florida and will remain with Ohio State for the upcoming College Football Playoff.
