DirecTV subscribers lost their Disney-owned channels Sunday evening. This includes ABC and ESPN. DirecTV and Disney had a deal that was set to expire on Sunday and they had not come to terms on a new deal in time for the deadline.

Scottie Scheffler won the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club. He claimed a $25 million bonus out of the $100 million FedExCup payout pool. He is the first golfer since Tiger Woods in 2007 to win seven PGA Tour events in a single season. Scheffler is averaging a score of 68 throughout the season.

More than 22 million people watched the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games opening ceremony in France on public service broadcaster France Televisions. Coverage attracted 65% of available under-35 viewers. Only 24% of television viewers tuned in to the Tokyo 2020 Games.

They have defended these Barries in antitrust allegations and Congressional testimonies over the years but could soon become artifacts of a college sports system undergoing tectonic changes.
