Jeffrey Kessler to rep states as Live Nation trial set to resume Monday
The third week of the Live Nations trial is coming up. It involves more than two dozen states and the District of Columbia is spearheading the case. The states’ motion for mistrial was withdrawn Friday afternoon.The states will be co-represented by Jeffrey Kessler of Winston & Strawn and Jonathan Hatch of the Office of the New York State Attorney General. Kessler most recently represented 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports in their antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR.

Roku to Release Sac State Series Produced by Omaha, Overtime
Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions and Overtime are working together on a docuseries featuring this season’s Sacramento State men’s basketball team. The series will air on Roku and will be named Fear Nothing: Sac State. Sacramento State is more of a startup team with some star power invested in it. Shaquille O’Neal is the program’s general manager, and Mike Bibby is the head coach.

Bahrain And Saudi Arabian F1 Races Officially Cancelled Amid Middle East Conflict
The two Middle Eastern races for F1 this season have been cancelled. The races to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in April will not happen due to the US-Israeli war on Iran. The races will not be replaced. There will be a five-week gap in the calendar between the end-of-March Japan round and the Miami Grand Prix in the first week of May.

Dana White: UFC to issue 85,000 free tickets for White House card
The UFC plans to make 85,000 free tickets available to the public for its unprecedented live event at the White House on June 14. Dana White said the 85,000 tickets will be for an outdoor viewing experience at the Ellipse in Washington. The fights, which have been dubbed Freedom Fights 250 in honor of the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, will take place nearby, on the South Lawn of the White House.

Big 12 ditching slippery glass floor for hardwood for rest of tournament
The Big 12 Conference ditched the slippery glass floor for a hardwood court for the last two days of the tournament. The glass floor has an aluminum and steel spring-action design that is supposed to mimic the flexibility of hardwood. The LED panels, which display everything from data-driven graphics to advertising, have ceramic coating and little dots etched into the glass that are supposed to create a grip that is consistent with traditional surfaces. The ball seems to bounce like usual, though with a different “thudding” sound. There are a whole lot more squeaks from sneakers than usual. But the biggest difference has been the traction.
