Mac Jones, Daniel Jones Cash In on Big Incentive Money
With Brock Purdy out for the San Francisco 49ers, Mac Jones has taken the team under his belt. Jones singed a two-year deal with the team in March worth $8.4 million. His contract came with a $400,000 incentive if he won four games as a starter while taking at least 25% of the snaps. Now that he’s eclipsed the $400,000 mark, Jones gets an additional $100,000 for each win going forward. Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones singed a one-year, $14 million deal. He has netted $100,000 for each win he plays at least 50% of the snaps in. He has earned $600,000 to this day in bonuses.

Good Good Golf to sponsor new PGA Tour event, signaling growth of YouTube golf
Pro golf is returning to Austin, Texas. The PGA Tour announced its return to Austin for the Good Good Championship. The fall season event will debut in 2026. It will be title-sponsored by the YouTube golf brand. The event will air on Golf Channel and ESPN+. There will be 120 players.

HBSE is a sports and venue-management company. Global Payments will be the official payment technology provider for the Prudential Center, New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia 76ers.

Mercedes to promote Meta AI in expanded F1 partnership
The Mercedes Formula One team expanded their partnership with Meta. They have added Meta AI as an official team partner. Fans can use Meta AI through the company’s suite of apps to analyze race strategies, share predictions with friends, edit phots and videos and revisit season highlights. The Meta AI logo will feature on George Russell and Kimi Antonelli’s helmets.

Warsaw approves funding for new sports venues
A new football stadium is coming to the Polish capital of Warsaw. There will also be a 2,000 seat multi-use arena. the complex will feature a youth sports centre, a three-story underground car park, and a city square with a fountain and green area. The stadium will cost around $108 million.

Albert Pujols will not be the Angels’ next manager. The Hall of Famer had been rumored to the favorite to take over the helm of his former team. The Angels also ruled out Ron Washington’s contract extension for 2026. Torii Hunter and Kurt Suzuki are being considered for the job.

Colorado State fires head coach Jay Norvell in fourth season
Colorado State fired football head coach Jay Norvell. This took place midway through his fourth season at the helm. Norvell finished his time at Colorado State with a 18-26 record. Tyson Summers will be the interim head coach until a new one is hired.
