Mark Cuban Increases His Indiana Football Spending for Transfer Portal
Billionaire and Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban graduated from Indiana in 1981. He has made another donation to the school’s athletic department amid the Hoosiers’ undefeated run to the College Football Playoff semifinals. Cuban said that he lets athletic director Scott Dolson decide what to do with the money, and didn’t say precisely how much he gave.

The NFL draws more viewers than the other big four North American sports. This season, the NFL posted its best regular-season average viewership numbers since 1989. An average of 18.7 million viewers watched NFL games. That is the second-best figure on record since the metric started being tracked in 1988. The 1989 season had 19 million viewers.

The Baltimore Ravens fired head coach John Harbaugh after 18 seasons. Harbaugh is the winningest coach in Ravens history. His agent, Bryan Harlan, said he received calls from seven different teams expressing interest in Harbaugh 45 minutes after the news broke. The Ravens are one of seven teams that currently have job openings. That means there is one team who is considering firing their own coach for a shot at Harbaugh.
