Netflix announces Mayweather-Pacquiao rematch at Sphere Las Vegas
Two of the century’s greatest boxers will square off again at Sphere Las Vegas. Netflix announced a rematch between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao at the venue. The match will take place on Sept. 19. It will stream exclusively on Netflix at no additional charge to subscribers. This is the first professional boxing match to headline Sphere Las Vegas.

Emma Raducanu departs Nike for ‘US$3.5m’ Uniqlo deal
Emma Raducanu is a British tennis star. She has left Nike to become the newest global ambassador for Uniqlo. She will wear Uniqlo on the court starting in next month’s Indian Wells Masters 1000 tournament. She will promote the Japanese brand’s LifeWear apparel off the court and collaborate on the brand’s community programs. The deal is supposedly worth $3.5 million each year.

Prediction market Kalshi moved all affiliate badges on X/Twitter on Monday evening after the social media platform recently updated its paid partnership policy to prohibit promotional deals with accounts that post gambling and sports betting content. There are still Polymarket accounts with affiliate badges on X. Polymarket reached a deal in June to become Twitter’s “official prediction market partner.”

Atlanta Braves announce new in-house TV network BravesVision
The Atlanta Braves launched BravesVision. It is a new television network owned and operated entirely by the organization. BravesVision will become the official local television home of the Braves this season. The team recently terminated their previous local television agreement with Main Street Sports Group, the operator of FanDuel Sports Network regional channels, which failed to make scheduled rights payments.

Detroit Lions to play international game in Munich in 2026
The Detroit Lions will be participating in the league’s return to Munich for a regular season game during the 2026 season. The game will be played at FC Bayern Munich Stadium. The date and kickoff time will be announced during the NFL’s greater schedule release. The Lions have had marketing rights in the DACH region, which includes Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

UFL To Revolutionize The Game With Four-Point Field Goal For 2026 Season
The United Football League announced its rule changes for the upcoming 2026 season. The season starts on March 27. One change is a four-point field goal for attempts made from 60 yards and beyond. The organization is also banning the Tush Push. The UFL will also feature one foot inbounds and no punts within the opponents 50-yard line rules, as well as revolution overtime guidelines.

Los Angeles 2028 CEO Reynold Hoover gave his full backing to Chair Casey Wasserman. He said his support remains unwavering despite increased scrutiny following the most recent release of U.S. Justice Department files related to Jeffrey Epstein. This was the first time Hoover has said anything about Wasserman since his name appeared on the documents published late last month.
