NBA closing in on decision on expansion to Las Vegas

Orioles set to reduce ballpark capacity for new social space
The Baltimore Orioles are removing approximately 2,000 seats from the upper deck in left field at Oriole Park at Camden Yards to build a new social space ahead of the 2027 MLB season. This new area, covering Sections 382 to 388, will feature drink rails, standing room viewing, and a central bar accessible to all ticketed fans as well as available for private event rentals. Funded by state-issued bonds from the Maryland Stadium Authority, the renovation will lower the stadium's seating capacity to 40,234.
