NBC Sports Network to officially re-launch on Nov. 17
NBC announced it will relaunch the network on Nov. 17 for YouTube TV and Comcast customers. NBC originally shut down NBCSN at the end of 2021. The channel will broadcast Monday night regular-season NBA games as well as NBA playoff games. It is expected to have dozens of MLB games in a yet-to-be announced agreement with the league.

The Seidler family might sell the Padres. The family has been part of the Padres’ ownership since 2012. They bought the franchise for $800 million. The club has reached heights that it never previously reached under the Seidler management. John Seidler said, “the Padres will continue to focus on its players, employees, fans, and community while putting every resource into winning a World Series championship. We remain fully committed to this team, its fans, and the San Diego community.”

Rays bring back $10 tickets, earlier start times for games at Trop
The Tampa Bay Rays are returning to the newly repaired Tropicana Field next season. The Rays will resume offering $10 tickets to all home games and 6:40 weeknight start times. Single-game ticket pricing was reduced by an average 15% for more than two-thirds of seats compared to 2024.

MLS, Apple TV scrapping Season Pass for '26 season - sources
ESPN announced that Major League Soccer and Apple TV will make matches available to viewers with an existing Apple TV account. There is no longer a need for an Apple TV Season Pass. The MLS Season Pass will conclude at the end of the 2025 season.

Cash-strapped Kennedy Center letting FIFA use facilities rent-free for weeks: report
The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts will be postponing previously booked events so the Donald Trump administration can let FIFA use the facility for free. The Kennedy Center currently quotes a standard rate of $39,000 to rent the Concert hall and $18,000 for the Eisenhower Theater. FIFA will use the facility for free in late November into early December.

Ian Eagle, Nate Burleson and Matt Ryan of CBS Sports will call the Cowboys-Commanders game at 1pm ET. A top color commentator can pocket $100,000 or more for a day’s work. A studio analyst can pull down $50,000 or more.

Mack Rhoades stepping away from College Football Playoff chairman, Baylor AD jobs
Baylor athletics director Mack Rhoades is taking a leave of absence from the university. Rhoades is also a chairman for the College Football Playoff selection committee. The College Football Playoff committee will have to find a new chairman with Rhoades’ departure. Rhoades has explained the committee's process on ESPN after each of the first two playoff rankings releases on Nov. 4 and Nov. 11.
