NFL Morning Games Break Ratings Record As Global Slate Grows
The NFL’s Sunday morning international game broadcasts saw record TV ratings this season. The NFL Network averaged 6.2 million viewers for the six European games that started at 9:30am ET. That is up 32% from last season’s slate. The Vikings-Steelers game in Dublin has had the most viewers this season at 7.9 million.

MLB, PitchCom announce six-year extension
MLB announced a six-year agreement with Pitchcom. The deal will last through the 2031 season. The MLB adopted Pitchcom in 2022. The system has improved the pace of play. The ’25 campaign marked the first time in 40 years (1983-85) that MLB’s average game time was 2:40 or lower for three straight years.

Arsenal drop controversial Visit Rwanda sleeve sponsorship
Visit Rwanda was Arsenal’s first-ever sleeve sponsor. it was with $13.1 million per year. Arsenal decided not to renew its long-running partnership beyond this season. This is because of the concerns over Rwanda’s human rights record.

Paramount to show Champions League games in UK from 2027
Paramount won the rights to show Champions League matches in the UK starting in 2027. The deal will run for four years. Amazon Prime will continue to show a game every Tuesday in the UK for four years.

ESPN Reaches Multi-Year Extension With Rebecca Lobo
Rebecca Lobo and ESPN agreed to a multi-year contract extension. Lobo is a lead voice on ESPN’s women’s college basketball and WNBA coverage. She will continue working regular-season broadcasts, Champ Week, the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, and the WNBA Finals. She will also continue contributing across ESPN platforms, including SportsCenter and a variety of specials tied to the women’s game.

MLB’s Field of Dreams event to return in 2026
The Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies will face each other in Dyersville, Iowa, for another Field of Dreams event. The Field of Dreams event debuted in 2021. The game will be on Aug. 13, 2026. Netflix will stream the game.

Jessica Berman was named the NWSL commissioner in 2022. She has signed a multi-year contract extension. Berman has had great success in her position. New record-setting media rights deals, the first and second collective bargaining agreements, skyrocketing club valuations, and welcoming new expansion markets in the Bay Area, Utah, Boston, Denver, and the newest market -- Atlanta.

Boca Raton Bowl announces Bush’s® Beans as new title sponsor
Bush’s Beans is the new title sponsor for the Boca Raton Bowl. The event is the annual college postseason game played at Florida Atlantic University’s Flagler Credit Union Stadium. The Bowl will now be known as Bush’s Boca Raton Bowl of Beans. The game will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, at 2pm ET.
