The Arizona Cardinals have fined head coach Jonathan Gannon $100,000 for his sideline interaction with running back Emari Demercado. Following an unforced fumble that negated a would-be 72-yard touchdown by Demercado, Gannon approached the running back, yelled in his face and then swiped his arm. Gannon said he apologized and talked to the team about the incident.

The 2026 World Cup tickets at MetLife Stadium is expected to be around $6,730 with resale prices reaching as high as $25,000. For comparison, the cheapest group stage ticket is $60, similar to the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

A’s Las Vegas season tickets may start at $22 per game
The Las Vegas A’s released the full season ticket packages for games at the under $2 billion Las Vegas ballpark. Prices could be between $1,750 for general reserved seats to $570,000 for 16-person luxury executive suites. The team is also considering offering quarter-season ticket packages that would include tickets to 20-21 home games of an MLB season.

Fox Sports will be the TV and streaming home for the 2026 World Baseball Classic in the U.S. It will be the second WBC for Fox, which also televised the last installment in 2023. She alleged she was unlawfully axed after her husband, Larry Fitzpatrick, told the team investigators that Elhai had sexually harassed female employees.

NCAA DI Administrative Committee Votes to remove ban on college athletes betting on professional sports
College athletes are now allowed to place bets on professional sports. They are still banned from any gambling on college sports. The proposal will go to the DII and DIII committees, which will vote during their meetings at the end of the month. If both of those sign off on their approval, the change could go into effect on Nov. 1.
