Brett Favre Tells Congress He’s Recently Been Diagnosed With Parkinson’s
Brett Favre announced that he was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. This came out when Favre was at a congressional hearing focused on the need for guardrails when it comes to dispersing Temporary Assistance for Needy Families funds. About $8 million of funds went to Favre himself, a volleyball stadium at his alma mater and to a drug company he backed.

Robinhood Inks Third NBA Jersey Patch Deal Via Klutch Sports
Financial service company Robinhood has announced it will put its logo on the jersey of the Miami Heat. The company also has its logo on the Memphis Grizzlies and Washington Wizards jerseys. Until 2017, no U.S. sports league permitted any brand placement on in-game uniforms. Robinhood is now the first company to have three jersey patches at once.

Vince McMahon Gets Defensive Over Upcoming Netflix Documentary
Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon is already playing defense ahead of today’s premiere of a documentary he participated in. Netflix produced Mr. McMahon, which is a six-part series that deep-dives into professional wrestling’s most influential figure while getting into some of his shortcomings and family drama. McMahon posted on X that he doesn’t regret participating in the documentary, but “a lot has been misrepresented or left out entirely in an effort to leave viewers intentionally confused.”

Americans go for another win in the Presidents Cup. Jon Rahm is back on the European tour
The Presidents Cup begins this Thursday at the Royal Montreal Golf Course. The defending champion of the tournament is the United States. The Americans will be going for their 10th straight victory in the series that began in 1994. The European Tour begins Thursday at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid. Jon Rahm will make his first European tour start since he joined LIV Golf last December.

Coliseum employees who became familiar faces brace for what’s next as A’s move to Sacramento
So many longtime Coliseum employees for the Oakland A’s have built lasting relationships and memories at the ballpark. Now, it is set to host a sellout crowd for the final scheduled A’s game on Thursday. The club has played in Oakland since 1968. They will call Sacramento home until the 2028 move to Las Vegas. Some of the employees are older and ready to retire, but others are in search of new jobs.

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said the league is not going through an expansion process. He said yesterday that expansion “is not on the horizon” for the league.

Gonzaga AD disputes report that they are bound for Pac-12
Gonzaga has been in the West Coast Conference since the 1979-80 season. Athletic Director Chris Standiford “didn’t mince words” in disputing a report from the Action Network’s Brett McMurphy, saying the Zags are leaving the West Coast Conference for the Pac-12.
