Ohtani, Judge Both Out of MLB All-Star Game in Possible Ratings Blow for Fox
Major League Baseball will be without its two biggest stars for this year’s All-Star Game in Philadelphia, as both Dodgers phenom Shohei Ohtani and Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge will sit out due to injuries. Ohtani is skipping the midseason showcase to receive treatment and fluid drainage on his left knee, while Judge remains sidelined while recovering from a rib stress fracture suffered in early June. Their high-profile absences represent a significant blow to Fox's broadcast ratings and MLB’s effort to capture the sports spotlight from the concurrent World Cup and recent NBA Finals.
