Davante Adams trade destinations: 6 prime landing spots plus 1 dark horse
The Las Vegas Raiders are seeking to trade the three-time All-Pro Davante Adams. Adams also wants out. The New York Jets are a likely team to acquire Adams. Adams and Aaron Rogers have played together in the past. The Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, Washington Commanders and Pittsburgh Steelers are also options. The dark horse in the mix? The Kansas City Chiefs.

Private Equity Firms Buy Rival Hockey Brands CCM and Bauer
Fairfax Financial Holdings gained control of Peak Achievement Athletics, Bauer’s parent company. Peak also owns equipment makers Cascade Lacrosse and Maverick Lacrosse. Fairfax took over Sagard Holdings’ stake in Peak, which the two companies acquired for $575 million. Altor Equity Partners agreed to buy a stake in CCM, one of Bauer’s biggest competitors. CCM makes skates, sticks, helmets and other hockey products.

No Caitlin, No Problem: WNBA Semis Beat 2023 Finals In Ratings
Sunday afternoon’s Game 1 of the WNBA semifinals between the Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty had 929,000 viewers on ABC. This is more viewers than all four telecasts of the 2023 WNBA Finals. The Connecticut Sun’s Game 1 win over the Minnesota Lynx pulled 654,000 viewers on ESPN.

NBA Renews Push to Dismiss TNT Sports Media-Rights Lawsuit
The NBA has made its final push to have TNT Sports’ lawsuit against the league dismissed. NBA argues the network’s purported match of the Amazon rights deal was instead a counteroffer. Amazon’s “C” package with the NBA is estimated at more than $1.8 billion per year and includes the conference final every other season.

Dream fire Tanisha Wright in WNBA’s 3rd coach firing since playoffs began
The Atlanta Dream fired coach Tanisha Wright after three seasons. Wright took over the team in 2022 and helped them reach the playoffs the last two seasons. Wright is the third WNBA coach fired in the past few weeks. Curt Miller was let go in Los Angeles, and Teresa Weatherspoon parted ways with Chicago.

Sam Schmidt opens paralysis center in Indianapolis to rehabilitate trauma victims
Sam Schmidt was paralyzed in a racing accident nearly 25 years ago. For much of the last quarter century, he has been proving to others that there is a way to have a meaningful life with a traumatic spinal cord injury. He opened the Driven NeuroRecovery Center six years ago in Las Vegas. He recently opened the not-for-profit Conquer Paralysis Now center in partnership with NeruoHope.

Red Sox show off plans to modernize Fenway Park for '25 season
Red Sox President and CEO Sam Kennedy revealed that they are “looking at ways to modernize” Fenway Park before the 2025 season. They “don’t plan on making major changes” to the venue.

Michigan Stadium seeing large increase in food and beverage sale
Michigan Stadium has three grab-and-go’s that are double-sided. They hold four side-by-side refrigerators. They also have two grab-and-go’s that are just one-sided. Sodexo Live Net food and beverage sales through four home games at Michigan Stadium are up 67% year-over-year.
