Commanders Sign Stadium Name Deal With Northwest Federal
Existing club sponsor Northwest Federal Credit Union has signed an eight-year deal that runs through the 2031 season as the new stadium naming rights partner of the Washington Commanders. Commanders Field will now be Northwest Stadium. Northwest was the first credit union in NFL partnership history. The deal with Northwest Federal Credit Union doesn’t include any options for a new stadium if the team relocates.

The Cowboys finally paid CeeDee Lamb. Why did it take so long?
The Dallas Cowboys agreed to a four-year extension that will last Ceedee Lamb through the 2028 season worth $136 million. About $100 million is guaranteed money. The team has a history of waiting until the last minute to pay its big-name players. They did the same thing in the past with Zach Martin, Ezekiel Elliott, Dez Bryant and many more.

Travis Kelce just signed a two-year extension with the Kansas City Chiefs worth more than $34 million. Jason Kelce made more than $14 million in his last season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, the brothers will make over $100 million with their podcast deal with Amazon’s Wondery. The company will distribute the “New Heights” podcast for over three years.

Nascar confirms Mexico City on 2025 schedule
Nascar has confirmed that the Autódromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City will form part of the 2025 schedule. This is the first points-paying race outside of the U.S. in Nascar history. The Cup Series event will air live on Prime Video, and the Xfinity Series race will air on The CW. OCESA promotes Formula One’s Mexico City Grand Prix and partnered with Nascar.

Top recruit Faizon Brandon sues North Carolina State Board of Education over ban of endorsement deals
Faizon Brandon is the No. 1 ranked recruit in the class of 2026. He is committed to Tennessee. Brandon is suing the North Carolina State Board of Education over its ban on endorsement deals for student-athletes of public high schools. Brandon’s NIL stated for him “to provide a certain volume of signed memorabilia prior to his high school graduation.” Brandon would then get paid “a substantial sum of money, with payments structured over time. The agreement would provide [Brandon] and his family with financial security for years to come."
