ESPN denies reports that Paul Finebaum has been barred from ESPN networks after his interest in Senate run
It has been noticed that Paul Finebaum’s ESPN appearances have been limited since he said he’d be interested running for U.S. Senate. On3’s Pete Nakos has confirmed a report from OutKick that Finebaum is currently not appearing on ESPN-branded networks. A spokesperson for ESPN said that OutKick’s original report was “TOTALLY FALSE.” Though Finebaum was not on “SportsCenter,” he did appear on ESPN host Matt Barrie’s YouTube show over the weekend.

NFL London Fans Get Partial Refunds After Ticket App Glitches
Ticketmaster is offering a partial refund credits to fans who experienced delays entering Sunday’s Vikings-Browns game in London. There were technical glitches in the NFL OnePass app. Multiple fans reported not entering the stadium on time.

There are only two weeks until the 2025-26 NBA season starts. NBCUniversal has exceeded its internal advertising expectations with nearly all inventory sold out and almost 170 partners investing in the property. Over 20% of NBCUniversal’s NBA advertisers are new to the company, with nearly 10% of new investments into the franchise at large from first-time brands.

Jaguars complete first phase of stadium work
The Jacksonville Jaguars commenced work on the $1.4 billion ‘Stadium of the Future’ project earlier this year. The completion date is set for Aug. 2028. On Friday, the team announced the opening of the stadium’s new Grand Staircase One structure ahead of the Monday Night Football game.

Unrivaled heading to Philadelphia
Unrivaled is a women’s three-on-three basketball league. The company will stage its first games outside of Miami in 2026 at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena. The event is a double-header on January 30, 2026. The schedule will be confirmed in November.

Ohio State's Ryan Day jokes 'I'm gonna hang it up and that's it' after making college football history
Ohio State football coach Ryan Day led his team to a 42-3 win over Minnesota. He now has the highest winning percentage of any coach in college football history. At 46 years old, he has won 88.2% of his games as Ohio State’s coach. Day joked about ending his coaching career on a high note saying, “Glad you brought that up, because this is the last game I'll ever be coaching at Ohio State. I'm gonna hang it up and that's it. I'm gonna do a walk off right now.” He followed up with, “No, a long way to go. [The record] has everything to do with the players, the coaches in this place.”

Penn State Has a $50 Million James Franklin Problem
On Saturday, No. 7 Penn State was upset by UCLA 42-37 in a game that will likely keep them out of the College Football Playoff. Head coach James Franklin was hired in 2014. Penn State is now on the fence about keeping him or firing him. His buyout is nearly $50 million. If fired, this would make him the first test case of breaking the bank to change coaches in college football’s revenue-sharing era.
