Polymarket Returns to U.S. After Nearly Four Years
The world’s largest prediction market platform is returning to the U.S. Polymarket announced that users can get on the waitlist for the app. The company will start by offering sports betting with “markets on everything” to follow. Polymarket was banned in the U.S. following backlash from regulators in early 2022. The company was offering betting contracts without the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s approval. Earlier this year, U.S. prosecutors and the CFTC dropped their investigations and the company received regulatory approval.
