Fox Sports is getting record viewership thanks to its increased broadcasting of international soccer tournaments. The group-stage match between the U.S. and Uruguay was the most-watched English-language Copa América telecast ever in the U.S., with 3.77 million viewers.

TGI Sport acquired Supponor to evolve its virtual ads.

Dallas Stars depart Bally Sports, go DTC with Victory+ streaming service
You can watch the Dallas Stars games free of charge for the 2024-25 season. The games will be available on Victory+ after the team entered a seven-year agreement with A Parent Media Co. Inc. This new contract means the team will end their 25-year partnership with Bally Sports and their current relationship with Diamond Sports Group.

NCAA Denied Appeal In College Athlete Employee Case  
Former Villanova football player Ralph “Trey” Johnson and other athletes argue they meet the applicable legal test for employment because their work for the school is separate from their studies and the schools have control over their time and labor. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit affirmed the dismissal of the NCAA’s motion to dismiss Johnson v. NCAA. The Third Circuit rejected the argument that college athletes cannot be employees and athletes at the same time.
