The Pro Football Hall of Fame is expected to change its voting procedure in the wake of New England Patriots Bill Belichick’s snub from the most recent class. A potential change would be to reduce the size of the 50-person committee, changing the makeup of membership to include more non-media members such as historians and former general managers, reducing the number of modern era player finalists and making the votes public.

Argentina approved a new rule requiring young players to sign a professional deal at home before moving abroad to play for the national team. The rule is described as an essential condition for wearing the Argentina shirt. The goal is to protect domestic clubs from losing their best young talents to European academics without fair financial return.

Cadillac launch first F1 car livery in Super Bowl advert for 2026 season during New England Patriots vs Seattle Seahawks
The new Cadillac team revealed their first Formula 1 car livery in an advert commercial during the Super Bowl. Cadillac’s debut livery was unveiled as a unique split arrangement for the 2026 grid with black on one side of the car and white on the other. The outfit is backed by General Motors. It is the 11th team on the F1 grid and is the sport’s first all-new entrant for the decade.

Super Bowl LX halftime show headliner Bad Bunny performed a joyful and rapid-fire medley of a dozen songs at Levi’s Stadium. Bad Bunny made a pregame promise to throw “a huge party.” Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin joined Bad Bunny in the performance. Lady Gaga previously headlined the Super Bowl LI halftime show in 2017. The closest Bad Bunny got to politics was having the scoreboard say “The only thing more powerful than hate is love” and he held a football with the message, “Together, we are America.”

Klint Kubiak 'fired up' about taking Raiders' coaching job
Klint Kubiak’s final game with the Seattle Seahawks was a Super Bowl win. The offensive coordinator confirmed on the NFL Network following the team’s victory over the New England Patriots that he will indeed be leaving Seattle to take over as the coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders have yet to confirm the hire. A deal can’t be finalized until after the Super Bowl since the Seahawks were still playing. Kubiak will be the Raiders’ fifth full-term coach since 2021.

Kenneth Walker III becomes 1st running back to win Super Bowl MVP in 28 years
Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III was named the Super Bowl MVP. He is the first running back to earn the honor in 28 years. He rushed for 135 yards and added 26 receiving yards. This marked his third straight 100-yard game from scrimmage in the postseason. Walker III is in the final year of his rookie contract and is slated to become a free agent in 2026.

NDSU Football move to Mountain West Conference finalized; report says
North Dakota State will be joining the Mountain West Conference as a football-only member beginning this fall. The school will pay a fee of nearly $12 million to join the league, in addition to the $5 million it will pay the NCAA. The school had been a member of the FCS since moving up to Division I in 2004. They have won 10 national championships at that level.
