The Homeless World Cup will be broadcast on Fifa+ as part of a memorandum of understanding between soccer’s global governing body and the tournament’s organizers. Fifa will also supply materials and equipment, including medals and trophies for the event.
“The purpose of the Homeless World Cup is to use football as a way of ending homelessness and 1.2 million people have benefited from the initiative since it was born in 2003. Sport has real power, and we have proved that it can be a force for good,” Mel Young, Homeless World Cup President, said.

African American Sports & Entertainment will take over the entirety of the A’s Coliseum complex. The team will sell its stake for $125 million. The developers plan to turn the site into “a thriving sports, entertainment, educational and business district in East Oakland.” Organizers have previously said they want to build affordable housing, a convention center, a hotel and a restaurant row of Black-owned businesses.

The NCAA said Harbaugh, “violated recruiting and inducement rules, engaged in unethical conduct, failed to promote an atmosphere of compliance and violated head coach responsibility obligations."
