Cowboys ride top NFL game for week 10
Despite the blowout score, the NBC East battle between the Cowboys and Giants took home the top spot in audiences for Week 10. Anchoring the FOX doubleheader, the game averaged 21.73 million viewers, according to Nielsen. The week also saw ESPN score its most-watched week 10 game ever, as the MNF matchup between the Broncos and Bills delivered more than 17.7 million viewers. Read more here.

NWSL Championship tops 800K for CBS Sports
CBS Sports saw its presentation of the 2023 NWSL Championship hand the channel with an average of 817,000 viewers, becoming the second NWSL match ever to top 800,000 viewers. Paramount + notched its most-streamed NWSL match ever in households and landed double-digit growth over last year’s game. Read more here.

PGA Tour to offer members equity ownership in new corporation
Once it reaches an agreement with Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund or other potential partners, the PGA Tour will offer its members direct ownership in the newly formed corporation, PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan said in a memo sent to players Tuesday. The AP reports that the memo comes on the heels of Monday's marathon meeting at PGA Tour headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, in which policy board members, including Tiger Woods, were apprised of potential investment partners. San Diego Padres owner Peter Seidler dies at 63
Padres owner Peter Seidler died on Tuesday, the team announced. A cause of death wasn’t announced although the club announced in mid-September that Seidler had an unspecified medical procedure in August and wouldn’t be back at the ballpark the rest of the year. He was 63. Read more here.

The PLL reveals home cities for its eight teams
The Premier Lacrosse League partnered with Whirlpool Brand to reveals its eight teams to home cities, marking the league’s biggest investment since its inception in 2018. After evaluating fan voting, broadcast viewership, historical ticketing performance, public census data, and venues, the PLL has assigned its teams to the following locations: Boston Cannons; New York Atlas; Philadelphia Waterdogs; Maryland Whipsnakes; Carolina Chaos; Denver Outlaws; Utah Archers and California Redwoods. Beginning in the 2024 season, the PLL will adopt a two-conference structure. Read more here.

There will be plenty of marketers vying for attention around this weekend’s Formula 1 race in Las Vegas, but Heineken will be hard to miss. Heineken will become the "first beer brand to advertise on the Las Vegas Sphere” in the lead up to and during the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. The brand already serve as the title sponsor for the race.

NBA partners with Sotheby’s to become official game-worn source of the association
The NBA and Sotheby's announced a multi-year partnership Tuesday that will allow the company to become the official game-worn source of memorabilia for the league. The Association and Sotheby’s also launched their 'Tip-Off' auction, which features a selection of more than 60 game-worn jerseys, from 'Kia NBA Tip-Off 2023' as well as prior seasons, with bidding open through November 28.

Andretti’s F1 effort boosted by General Motors plan to supply engines starting in 2028
General Motors said Tuesday it has registered with Formula One’s governing body to become an engine supplier starting in 2028 in what is seen as a huge boost to Michael Andretti’s bid to join the global motorsports series. The announcement comes ahead of this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix, where three senior GM executives plan to be in attendance to help push Andretti Global’s bid forward with F1.

Formula 1 in America: ESPN, ESPN+, ESPN Deportes serving fans with live telecast of inaugural Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix
ESPN, ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes will have live coverage of the Las Vegas Grand Prix as the stars of F1 compete under the lights in the Las Vegas night. The telecast begins with Grand Prix Sunday at 11:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Nov. 18, with the race starting at 1 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19 (late Saturday night in some U.S. time zones). ESPN will surround the race telecast with programming and content across platforms including the on-site presence of SportsCenter. ABC News’ Good Morning America will have segments from Las Vegas on Friday, Nov. 17, and ESPN2 will televise highlights from the event’s extravagant opening ceremony at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16.
